Although this site is dedicated to showing you how to attract new client engagements without writing free proposals, I think it’s also important to share with you resources that will help you save money, be more efficient, and keep up to date on the newest technology available to you.
Below is an article I found on Mashable.com that I found beneficial. I hope you do too! Enjoy. – Craig

NEW ECONOMY WEALTH Strategies
by Craig Valine & Dan Kennedy
The Pressure-Prosperity Link
In the past couple years, most business owners have had to battle an unfriendly economy, and must now adjust to an evolving ”New Economy.” This is harder for some than others, but the path to success is the same for all: not permitting any conditions or circumstances to dictate results. Not to embrace any excuses for not doing well. Excuses sabotage creativity and initiative.

“When You Meet Money On Its Path, It Means You’re Walking In The Right Direction”
“Motion beats meditation.” – Gary Halbert
In the midst of one of his dark periods, when the news was filled with stories of his financial demise, Donald Trump talks about feeling like just staying hidden at home but instead strapping on his tuxedo and going to an important gala – because he knew he could not possibly gain by staying home. At a time, some 30 years or so ago, when I was captain of a company everyone in its industry knew to be
in deep and dire financial circumstances, I considered skipping that year’s convention. But I didn’t. It might have been less stressful, less embarrassing, more comfortable to stay home. But I couldn’t possibly gain doing that. I went. I put

One reason I created this blog was to change the perception of what it means to be a Consultant to both YOU and your Clients.
Unfortunately, many of us have had the very same experiences dealing with clients and the Engagements, so I found this video to be somewhat humorous.
So, aside from getting some humor from this video, let me ask you these though-provoking questions:
“How can we change the perception of what it means to be a Consultant to our Clients?” and
“How can we change the experience for everyone involved, through the entire Client Engagement Process, so we’re not even compared to any other Consultant?”

What do Batman, Super-man, and Donald Trump all have in common?
They wear “costumes” that create a sense of power to the public.
Yes, even Donald Trump has a ‘costume.’ (I’ll get to that in a minute.)
What if, instead, Bruce Wayne showed up without his Batman costume and was wearing a turtleneck with a scarf and blazer? Would criminals still fear him?

Do you know the “genius” of Bill Glazer?
I do. I think he’s an awesome man to study marketing and advertising from.
Did you know in 2000, the industry journal MR Magazine named Bill and his Marketing System to the list of the ‘100 Top People, Places, and Things Impacting the Retail Industry at the Millennium’… the equivalent of being named to People or Time Magazine’s list of the 100 most noteworthy or influential individuals.
Did you also know one of Bill’s accomplishments was his winning

NEWS FLASH!
Britney Spears’ Mother’s Publisher Delays Release Of Her Advice Book, ‘Motherhood,’ In Light Of Britney’s 16 Year Old Sister’s Revelation She Is Pregnant
No, in case you missed this, it is a real news item. Incredibly, Britney’s mother did have a book of parenting advice and stories from raising Britney coming out, and it was not a “you might be trailer park trash if” joke book. It was intended to be taken seriously, and presumably would be and eventually will be by a media that has become, itself, a bunch of ignorant fools barely able to read teleprompters and in perpetual drool over celebrity. The fact that this is news at all speaks volumes about the sad state of affairs. But here’s what’s REALLY comical yet also instructive from this three way train wreck – the mother’s statement expressing puzzlement at her 16 year old’s pregnancy because,

I watched a great video tonite by marketing and Internet Guru Rich Schefren.
To be honest, I haven’t really ever “connected” with Rich. I don’t think I’ve really ever given him a chance. However, Jay Abraham speaks about him like he’s a God or something. He’s mentioned several times in Jay’s new book “The Sticking Point Solution“. So, when I got an email from him

As a consultant, I’ve used many different ‘media’ to attract interested prospects to hire me as a Consultant. However, I’ve never used TV as a medium to reach my target market. Nor, have I used “arm-breaking” tactics to improve bottomline profits.
For some people, this style of consulting may work!
(I’m guessing it’s an East Coast thing… you know, like Boston, New York, Jersey, Philly, etc.
Check it out.

I found this video on my friend Ramon Vela’s StreetSmartSolutionProvider.com website. It’s from the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” where Will Smith, out of frustration with his current life situation, scolded his child for having big dreams.
He realizes what he just said, because he doesn’t really believe it himself, and then says, “Don’t listen to anyone who tells you you can’t do it! Even me. You do whatever you have to….”
Watch the video, and take the advice. If you have BIG dreams and it gets tough somtimes, or someone in your life isn’t supporting you as you’d like or need, watch this video again and again.
